Waste Heat Recovery
Waste heat can be converted to free energy and used to slash heating costs.
Fluid Dynamics can assist you with economical and efficient waste heat recovery by capturing the heat and returning it to the process using a simple heat exchanger.
Whether the waste heat is in process water which is normally discharged to sewer, or in exhaust gas from a boiler or gas turbine which is normally vented to atmosphere, that heat is valuable, but potentially wasted, energy.
To assist its clients, Fluid Dynamics has developed a proprietary software programme that accurately calculates the return on investment (ROI) and savings that are achieved by capturing waste heat - good for your business and good for our environment.
If your waste hot water contains particulates, e.g. linen fibres or rendered meat, ask us about water separation to reduce those particulates to manageable solids before the water is discharged.

Ultrasonic Cleaning
Fluid Dynamics has always prided itself on its ability to clean and test heat exchangers and oil coolers.
We have installed a state-of-the-art Ultrasonic Cleaning system that effectively operates all day and sometimes overnight to provide the most thorough cleaning of heat exchangers, oil coolers, filters, engine parts, machinery, trays, trollies, castors, window fitments etc. etc. – just about anything that is difficult to clean.

Refurbishment
Quality heat exchangers and oil coolers should provide many years of solid duty. As they age they need some love and care and Fluid Dynamics is repeatedly requested to strip down, inspect, test, clean and refurbish those units that still can provide many more years of service.

Testing
